Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data theOpenn collects when you generate images, why we collect it, who it is shared with, and the controls you have over it.
Data we collect
Account data. When you sign in with Google we receive your email address, display name and profile picture. We store these in your profile so we can show your account and apply your credit balance.
Creative data. Prompts you type, reference images you upload, and the settings you choose (ratio, resolution, batch size).
Usage data. Generation logs (timestamp, prompt, success or failure, duration and error code) and credit consumption records. We use these for abuse prevention, quota planning and debugging.
Device data. Standard server logs such as IP address, browser type and pages requested.
How we use it
To generate your images, enforce daily credit limits, keep your library and history, protect the platform from abuse, respond to support requests, and improve reliability and quality. We do not sell your personal data and we do not use your private uploads for advertising.
Who we share it with
Model providers. Prompts and reference images are transmitted to our generative model providers to produce your results. They process it as our processors under their own security commitments.
Infrastructure. Our database, authentication and hosting providers store data on our behalf.
Legal. We may disclose data where required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users.
Retention
Account and profile data are kept for as long as your account exists. Generation logs are retained for up to 12 months for security and capacity planning. Locally stored history in your browser can be cleared at any time from your device.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may request access, correction, export or deletion of your personal data, and object to certain processing. Email privacy@theopenn.com and we will respond within 30 days. Deleting your account removes your profile, credits and logs.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to production data is restricted to a small number of operators and protected by row-level security policies, so one user can never read another user’s data.
Children
theOpenn is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and adjust the “last updated” date. Material changes will also be announced in the app.
